This privacy policy explains how the GS Value Fishing App (“the app”) handles information. GS Value Fishing SIA (“we”, “us”) built this app to connect to the GS Value Fishing fishing rod with built-in underwater camera and display its live video feed on your phone.
Information we collect
We do not collect any personal data. The app does not require an account, login, or email address. We do not gather names, contact details, usage analytics, or any information that identifies you. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Video and recordings
The underwater video feed is shown live in the app on your phone. If you press the record button, the video is saved directly to your phone’s gallery on your own device. We do not upload, store, or have any access to your videos. They stay on your phone and are fully under your control.
Permissions the app uses

Local network / Wi-Fi: The app connects to your camera rod over its Wi-Fi signal to receive the live video feed. This connection is local between your phone and the rod only.
Location: Android requires location permission to be granted in order for apps to scan for and connect to Wi-Fi networks. The app uses this only to establish the Wi-Fi connection to the camera rod. We do not collect, store, track, or share your location.
Storage: Used only to save your recorded videos to your phone’s gallery when you press record.

Data sharing
We do not share any data with anyone, because the app does not collect any.
Children’s privacy
The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
